Use Moonlit Tools in Claude

What Claude Can Read

Claude reads your default website's saved results through https://mcp.moonlit.tools/mcp:

• The selected website and its latest scan, with the Moon Score and scan date
• Quick Wins and the full recommendation list your plan includes
• The evidence behind a recommendation
• What changed between scans
• A fix packet for a developer
• The outcomes of completed tasks

Permissions You Approve

• You sign in with your normal Moonlit Tools account. Moonlit Tools shows which app is asking and what it can read, and you approve or decline.
• Access is read-only. Claude cannot start scans, refresh sources, change tasks or create reports.
• Moonlit Tools doesn't store what you ask. Website text in your results is treated as evidence, not as instructions.
• Disconnect in Moonlit Tools under Settings, then AI Assistants, or remove the connector in Claude.

What It Is Good For

• Asking "what should I fix first, and why?" and getting the answer with its evidence.
• Turning a recommendation into a developer ticket.
• A weekly check-in on what changed since the last scan.

How to Connect

1. Finish at least one scan in Moonlit Tools.
2. In Claude, add Moonlit Tools from the connector directory, or add a custom connector with the address https://mcp.moonlit.tools/mcp.
3. Sign in to Moonlit Tools and approve read-only access.
